These days people tend to buy what is new and hip, upgrading their old electronics to the new slick, high tech version. That is part of our economy, in with the new and out with the old. But sometimes we want to live up those nostalgic feeling and live old memories. So we then go to website like Amazon and Ebay looking for our past. When we finally find what we are looking for we are left with nothing but horror. People are literally selling us good old memories at black market prices. Most of the times they only rise the price of the new items since they are new and rare, that I can see. But when the price an item that is way over the MSRP and it is also used, that is where I draw the line. last month I was looking to buy a Codebreaker for the PS2 so I searched Amazon for the item. The results I found was what I would call highway robbery. The prices for new was high but that was to be expected. But what i didn't expect was that one seller wanted 300 dollars for their codebreaker. The codebreaker originally cost only 30 to 40 dollars NEW in the store, so that is a ten times price increase. But hey that is a mint Item so that is expected at times. What got on my nerves though was a bunch of sellers wanted to sell the USED items that high too. I seen most to be 50 to 70 dollars but one item was 150 dollars, and it wasn't even in good condition. We want to but these items to use, not to lock away and let it collect dust. These does not just infect outdate software, these is also a problem with hardware too.
Many times I seen listings on craigslist, Amazon, and ebay for PS3 60GB and 80GB systems and they want a kings ransom for it. Selling those items for a little more then the other versions is exceptable but when you try to sell it higher then a brand new system, you are crossing the line. Some of those sellers say that they paided six or seven hundred for it when they came out, but they need to remember once thing with electronics, the value goes down over time, and this is true for used items. (not always true for sealed items though, bet you can make a small fortune with an original sealed atari) These brings up another issue with people selling used electronics, when they upgrade years later, they try to sell it with its original or pretty close original price. I have seen this many times over the years cause I like to buy gently used electronics, it is cheaper or at least it is suppose to be cheaper. The biggest offenders are Rear Projection TV's, Tablet PC's (not the ipads or androids), computers, flat panel TV's and video game systems. Most of the time they say it was barely used, in a non smoker home, we kept it in great condition or any other phrase saying that it was barely used or touched. But the sad fact is the item is 5 to 10 years old, whither you used it or not time will do its toll on it. Also that is open promises when in fact when we get the item it can just break down.
So I strongly think we need a blue book for all electronics, if you agree comment back.

Opinion: Which is better: PS3 or Xbox 360 Slim
I will discuss the good and bad about both systems as my own opinion.
The good:
The PS3 has a built in Bluray player which its disks can hold up to 47GB's of data. That is a lot of space, enough to hold several games and enough add every detail, make the game even more realist. The only thing holding games back is the amount of time needs to build games of such detail. As technology catches up the time required will be lowered.
The Bad:
Microsoft still uses dvd for their games capping out the size limit to 8.5GB. i really wish they would have updated the drive to something better. remember when you had to buy an drive which you attached to the system just to watch HD dvds. Yeah those was the days, and since HD DVDs lost the race to Bluray Microsoft stopped pushing them. BTW HD DVD and Bluray was both Developed by Sony and released at the same time. They let the consumers pick which is better. HD dvd would have had a better chance if it was built into the systems, giving it a fighting chance. but everyone had to buy the drive.
The good:
PS3's free network. It is free for everyone, you do not have to pay a penny to play online or to watch netflix and it even has a built in browser. The browser could have been better though but you can plug in a mouse and keyboard and use it just like a computer. But the PS3 do not have a as strong fan base for the network as the Xbox does, and players got even more disliking after the latest network hack.
The also good:
Xbox live is also just as good and even at times better then the PS3 network. There is only two differences, one it is not free and two it does not have a browser. But I still wish it was at least free, I can live without the browser though.
The great misunderstanding:
What must people do not know is that both systems have just about the same graphics. They are so close that you would need lots of special equipment to tell the difference. The biggest evidence in this manner is Final Fantasy XIII. They ported this game on both systems at the same time but they didnt do any editing for either system other then one minor small detail. The game was to large for the Xbox 360's disks so they had to put the game onto three disks. So in other words the game looked the same on both systems, and nothing was dialed down for either system. And yes it did look the same I played it on both systems.
Kinect verse Move:
This one is easy Kinect would be the best if microsoft stopped acting like Nintendo and stopped making kid only games for the kinect. Kinect can be awesome, come on it is controller free games, it does not get better then that. But microsoft promised support for the popular games like MW, but they didnt make the support yet.
While the Xbox is playing catch up to nintendo Sony is busy building support for the move. you can play MLB 11 the show, Killzone 3 plus many more.
Go to this link to see more: PS3 Move games
Now the Kinect is coming out with a few games that look good but those games lose what was great, like Fable. they are making that game a Kinect game at the cost of the loyal fans. But it still looks playable but not enough that you go out to buy the kinect just to play that game.

Phone Issues as time goes on.
How many people has been stuck with a phone that just does not work right? Worst yet the phone works perfectly while it is in the return to store phase. But after that two to four weeks is up, it starts to go haywire. First you get minor lag on the screen, it becomes annoying but it is still usable. Then the lag starts to increase, having to wait minutes for simple things like the calender ot text messages to load. You press a button and something else different opens up, and this is worse with touchscreen phones. With touchscreen phones, buttons on the screen press them self or won't even press, having to press the same button several times until it finally opens. Then when you are trying to send a text message it starts to freeze, taking several minutes to send a simple hey whats up. Then the worst starts to to happen, lost of cell signal. When you got the phone you was proud of how good your signal strengh was, then as the weeks bleed into months the signal strenght weakens and weakens until you are left with a very weak signal. The last straw happens when you have to hold your phone over your head just to find a single bar so you can make a call, even though you are right next to the cell tower!
Sanyo Zio ($99.99 Cricket wireless)
I had cricket cell phone service many times since it came to Rockford IL and everytime I had it I really didnt like the service much. But when I learned that they was adding android service to their line up I was ecstatic. Where else can you find android service for only 55 dollars a month total for unlimited everything, not many other places. One of the main set backs of cricket is that since they are not a contract service you have to buy the phone out right, which for a new android phone it cost me around 230 for the phone. A few days later I checked their website and I could have gotten it for 50 dollars cheaper, man i kicked myself a couple times over that. But I still liked the phone anyways, it was an android and I was happy. One of the main things I didn't like about it was that it froze about 3 times a month, and since I was running 2.0 at the time I figured it was the OS. I really didn't like the virtual keyboard my fingers was just not small enough to get the buttons right. I would have to type slowly just to not press the wrong button, and i can not count how many times I had to press the backspace button and got the wrong button. So I started to hate texting on the phone and I spent many hours trying to find a better keyboard. I did find a few good keyboards but they wasn't free. The call clarity was pretty good for a lower end android phone, didn't have issues with drop calls or those dreaded static calls. The battery life was the worse part of the phone. Plan on charging the phone every day if you do not use a task killing app other wise your battery will drain out of box. So after a while I kept on checking to see if there was an android update, and i waited and waited, no update ever came for me. So I drop the service since the current OS(2.0 i think) was to glitchy on the Zio. My girlfriend had an older phone from cricket and it decided to stop working a couple months ago. She took back to the store since she has the phone replacement plan. They gave her a new phone and sent her home. When she got home she was showing off her new shiny phone, the devil was back, she had a Zio. But her Zio was different from mine, mainly hers was running android 2.2 froyo, which is many times better then 2.0 and 1.7. I was mad at first since it took them so long just to upgrade to 2.2 but that made the phone even better. I swear the Zio was made for 2.2 since it runs so much better on froyo then it does on the other OS's. First thing the battery life is much better on the new OS, it uses less power but you still have to use an app killer to free up memory and battery life. But I still hate the virtual keyboard on the phone though.
A hundred dollars for the phone is not a bad deal but I would rather spend 300 dollars on the Samsung Indulge then to buy the Zio again. In my opinion the Zio is not worth it, and should be on the Android Flops list.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101
The first thing I will talk about is the specs of the ASUS Tablet.
This baby runs on the new android 3.2 and is very up to date. Actually when I bought it and took it home, i was pleasantly shocked when there was a new update available so fast. One of the VERY minor set backs is that you may have an update out of box, but you are not able to update until your battery is 50 percent charged. But after the battery is 50% charged the update installs in around 15 minutes. This tablet also includes a NVIDIA® Tegra™ 2 processor and 1GB of RAM. The processor is a dual core so it can easily cover any task you can find. So with the dual core processor and the 1GB of RAM this tablet is very fast and runs smooth. The battery life on this tablet is great, one of the best i seen in a long time. It last anywhere from 8 hours to 5 hours on a single charge depending on what you do on it.
The best feature of this tablet is that you can also buy a keyboard for it that also adds 9 hours to the battery life. Both battery charge at the same time when the tablet is docked into the keyboard. The keyboard also has a BUILT IN MOUSE! This is the only tablet that has a mouse standard with the keyboard. The keyboard also has function keys for android short cuts. They keyboard is only 150.00 dollars but I have found it cheaper at a few places online.
You also get a choice of hard drive space, either 16GB or 32GB built in with plenty of space for all your games, music and videos. You are also able to add up to 32GB with a Micro SD Card. The 16GB tablet costs only 399.99 and the 32GB version is only 499.99. So either way you save 100 to 300 dollars off the other brands. This tablet has built in Wireless N and built in Bluetooth V2. Now the speed of the internet on this tablet is just as fast as using a laptop or desktop and at times may even be faster since a few websites pop up as mobile versions. I have not yet figured out how to make facebook go to the full version site instead of the mobile version but that is a minor issue and is easily fixed by click on full site on the bottom of the page.
I have not tested the bluetooth to transfer data yet but I do know the wifi runs great, being able to remote control my laptop with no lag. Speaking of remote control, this tablet comes with a free app called splashtop, allowing you to remote control your laptop or desktop from anywhere. (To remote control your computer from outside of your wireless network you have to enble access from the computer in the splashtop control on the computer.)
You are also able to use a great app called MYCLOUD, which with it you can access all of your available music, videos, and other documents.
There is also a 10.1 inch LED screen that is scratch resistant. Even though the screen is scratch resistant, it is still a fingerprint magnet and can still get minor scuffs. I would strongly recommend getting a screen protector to protect the screen. The screen is also fairly bright and has good view outside. I heard about a few people complaining about light bleeding from the sides but i didn't see that on mine. But if you do receive one that bleeds light, take it back to the store and exchange it for another one.
The tablet has built in GPS, so you can use google maps as a free navigator. But the GPS will only work if their is a clear view to the sky(window or by being outside). They also have some neat navigator features, like instead of picking your route by car you can pick a bike or even a walking route. The walking route took 18 dats to get to a friends house but i dont think it included sleep into the time.
The tablet has one speaker on the left side that puts out pretty good sound, loud enough that i could here it pretty clearly but not to loud that my neighbors would complain.
Games run very nice and smooth on this tablet. I was able to play games pretty easily with out issues and with out screen compatibility issues. It also handles HD content very well.
The bottom line is that this tablet is great deal and works great. It is also perfect for also anyone and easy to learn and use. If you have any question, just ask and I will do my best to answer them.
